I call 911 and 112

  I tried calling 911 and 112 and it were both successful and got a woman operator pick up the phone.

  When I remove my SIM card, I try calling 999 but could not call. But I try calling 911 and 112 and it could go through even without a SIM card.

  I am wondering if the 911 and 112 operator pick up the phone and I say I am staying in singapore and somebody is outside my house now and wants to break in to kill me, what will happen?

  They will contact the singapore police force?

  I don't buy the 911, but 112 does work, even on mobile phones without sim cards. I ever tried it before on an unused nokia 8250, got to the dialling and ringing part.

  I'm interested to know how 911 works in Singapore too. I guess they probably will connect you straight to the police force here.
