Gift from Japan for girl

hey there
I'm going to japan soon, and I intend to get a gift for a friend of mine who's a girl. We aren't dating or anything like that, so it should be something neutral. Given budget constraints, I'm also only looking for things within a S$80~100 cap.
I originally thought of getting her a necklace, since I read Japan is somewhat known for 'cultured pearls' as they call it.. But I can't exactly afford one that has like 20 pearls on it, so thats pretty much out of the question. I'm kinda ardent about the whole necklace thing, but still open to suggestion.
Especially girls out there, any recommendations? It should be something unique to Japan, pretty, and affordable.
Any help here would be hot. Thanks.

most countries, if not all, got restrictions on the bringing in of flora and fauna.Soil is included.need to check with AVA.

As aforementioned, I'm somewhat adamant about the necklace :P so i'm thinking of maybe getting her one, and engraving her name in Japanese onto it. but then theres the problem of the necklace itself being unique to Japan, as opposed to just any other necklace one gets from any conventional jewelery shop..
any ideas as to a particular type/design etc of necklace thats unique to Japan? :D

Unique is better then expensive at times... I'm sure U wouldn't wanna wear something expensive and the everyone also wearing the same thing -

buy her a japanese yukata kimono, or japanese school girl uniform
