Hi all,
I'm applying online for US non-immigrant visa, and it asks for a "passport book number", supposedly separate from passport number:
The Passport Book Number is commonly called the inventory control number. You may or may not have a Passport Book Number on your passport. The location of the Passport Book Number on your passport may vary depending on the country that issued your passport. Please contact your passport issuing authority if you are unable to determine whether or not your passport contains a Passport Book Number.
Does anybody know if this applies to Singapore passports? Thanks!
Maybe its the one thats punched in holes that penetrates thru all the pages.

I dont think we can call ourselves "passport issuing authority".
call ICA and ask lar...![]()
I doubt ICA would give him a reply, the usual attitude towards such things are call forwarding.
The call would be routed one big round through the entire ministry, and then pushed to another. They would probably refer him to the american embassy or something.![]()
