  What makes you think so?

  Women have twice as many pain receptors as compared to men.

  If you're referring to how women are able to survive the pain of child birth; it's because pregnancy causes a whole lot of hormones to be released and most of these help to reduce pain and discomfort.

  But in theory, a women who is not pregnant or giving birth or high on drugs, will feel twice the amount of pain when they get injured/hurt, as compared to men.

  This question is unneccessary.

  Because.....

  Caning is reserved for violent crimes....

  And the perpretators of violent crimes....are 99% males (as an example only)

  For example,

  Women cannot rape.....or not cannot but seldom.....

  Women also seldom do armed robbery....murder....molest....and so on.

  So the question whether women should be caned is unneccessary.

  Caning is meant to inflict psychological impact to a wrongdoer.

  Usually, it is more effective for males.

  Because males are agressive.

  So caning will make them less arogant.

  Women are less agressive.

  So it is not needed to cane them.

  even if caning is imposed on woman not many will be get it as woman normally wont commit serious crimes like rape. maybe caning only applys to those ahlians who vandalises things. i've seen a grp of ahlians in the bus vandalising the seats b4

  they asked for gender indiscrimination. but we all know what they are asking for exactly. who wants to ask for unfavourable conditions. so please dont use fairness as an excuse to include caning as punishment for females' wrongdoing.

  i think shouldnt cane them. but i cant think of a good reason. its just a thought. maybe the law wants to protect the appearance of the female more?
