Anyone borrowed books from there before? I want to know whether I can return the borrowed books from there to woodlands regional library? Or any other libraries also ? Please help, thanks.
You borrowed the books from library@esplanade. You should return it to right library. Because those books does not belong to WDL library.
Supposely, arent you able to return it at any NLB nearby your place?
lol cos the books i borrow from esplanade library is music score, not normal story books, so i was wondering if i could just return it to any library or must go drop at esplanade. esplanade so far......
You should return it to the origin, which is esplanade. I don't like borrowing books from the central library for the same reason, its far away.

Those libraries near our houses one are all oldies(Beatles, Paul Mccartney,Simply Red)while the central library are all new ones.

Next time go to Chua Chu Kang Library where you can use your handphone in the talkzone.Or better still stay home to surf some websites:www.jesus-is-savior.com
Unless I am doing some projects that I might need additional reference materials then I would usually think of the Central library. If not, my preference would be to search the NLB website for my book before taking a bus down fast enough to grab that book that I want.
If you're returning the food to a neighbourhood library, how do you expect the book to 'jump' back to esplanade library? ![]()
You can return the books to any NLB library. I have always borrowed from Esplanade and drop it at my house nearest library cos no time to go all the way there. ![]()
why not walk into any nlb library and ask the staff ?
nlb generally allows users to return books borrowed fm any library, however as u mentioned those borrowed fm esplanade are music scores so the requirements may be different.

hey anyway i've emailed nlb library and ask, the staff say books from library@esplanade can be dropped at any NLB Public Libraries, Regional Libraries or National Library.
and books borrowed from the owning library and dropped off at other branches will be in transit back to the owning branch. this would typically take anywhere from 3-5 working days. in the event that no one has reserved the book, you would be able to find it back on the shelves of the owning library after 3-5 working days. thus in my case, i would be able to find the books back at library@esplanade.
You can return to any library.
I never borrow books from library for a long time alrdy
