  Taiwan isn't in the UN and many countries regard Taiwan as part of PRC. Taiwan is called Republic of China; Taiwan is the name of the island.

  1 of the islands that is nearer to Taiwan than to Japan is considered as Japan's.

  Anyway, PRC is getting real strong and judging from the news (january 2010 till present), PRC is not one country to be messed with.

  whatever happen, taiwan is one people, unlike singapore with so many kind of people, so we are more closely related and also make decision in a one for all and all for one kind of mentality. We are therefore certainly more cooperatives and united, unlike Singaporeans, you die your problem kind of attitude, that is why PAP govt take this individualistic mentality into their good use, because there will never be riot or protest in big group..
