Hi everyone,
I am a NTC2 in Electronics graduates seeking advice and guidance on my above mentioned subject as on the private school issues,
1) What are the requirements to apply for their courses?
2) As part time studies with them, how long do i have to complete on their course?
3) Normally, how much does it cost to study private school?
Thanks and awaiting for your kind advice.
Regards.
1) What are the requirements to apply for their courses?
Have you decided on which private school you wish to attend?
Check out the school and the courses that they offer, usually private schools will have a website where you can find information about their courses. Just do a google search for the school.
I think it's best if you check with the school and have a face to face talk with their service staff.
Just my opinion, for schools without a website, like those who give out leaflets on the streets, be wary. You can aim for well-known private schools like Informatics, SIM, MDIS, PSB Academy (these are the credible schools that I know of).
2) As part time studies with them, how long do i have to complete on their course?
That will depend on the:
a. number of modules in the course,
b. number of semesters per year, (private school like Informatics is 3 semesters per year, SIM I think is 4 semesters)
c. how many module exemptions you can be granted,
d. how many modules you can 'tahan' to take per semester.
e. how much you can afford to pay per semester. But if your taking a full loan from bank or family, this point e is irrelevant.
3) Normally, how much does it cost to study private school?
That will depend on the number of modules your course has; more modules, more expensive.
But if you want an agar agar figure, I can't say much but share with you how much I paid for my degree. I took a 7 module course, paid about $17,000.
But it also depends on whether your taking degree or diploma. Diploma/Advanced Diploma will have a lower price per module.
Hope I was of help.
