singapore, forever stay with parents?

  i just got back from studying abroad, living away from family for 4 years. now, back with parents. not good.

  by being fortunate enough to study abroad, i really felt the difference it makes in "moving out" in terms of how it let me develop. have to cook my own, laundry my own, everything my own although of course got some money back up from home. i'm not super independent, but it has helped.

  and, i don't want to get married until maybe 35 when i establish my career.

   

  So, all this means. LIVE WITH PARENTS UNTIL 35+ when get married.

  and even after marriage, i have to live with them still right? because have to take care of them. can't send them to old folks home.

   

  So....seriously, W..T...F...

  i know i have a duty to my parents, they have worked hard for me. but, this is SERIOUS impositions on my life man. I am so considering getting married in the next 3 years just to have some excuse of independence...and i'm scared if i pursue my idea of not marrying early, i'll be DOOMED to appear as this old man still living with parents...girls will say...eee...

   

  And...i haven't even talked about MONEY issues yet. even want to move out, not so easy.

  but you are not the 1st and the last 1 as well. there are plenty of same ungrateful brat like u , (including the 1 that still stay in my dad place right now)

  i dun rent.i buy and werk for it....why cuz a house is affordble..and salary is $50k/yr min....soi would get a house n 10 cars after 10 years if i started to werk for a living.

  renting is ok.fer 1 year...then it becomes ecnomically unvuiavblein which case u might as well buy the house....so there!its very simple.u werk...u get $$$ to buy a whole house an extras...
