  Nowadays, due to the proliferation of new sites, there is dispersal already. It is not like before, during the mIRC days.

  During mIRC days, internet was relatively new, and social interaction and social media through the internet was also new. But nowadays, there is Facebook, YouTube, and online forums such as this one, SGForums. So all this cannibalize the mIRC market. Nowadays if you go to mIRC, I think you can still find some people, but dont hope for too much.
