mhz is tv frequency.
it is something like catch all antenna. ..but your position must be correctly...trial and error la.
Just to share. VHF and UHF are the same as MHz. The later (MHz) is used in new LCD TV or LED. While the old TV set used VHF and UHF . Just use auto set up for programming and you will get all the available channels in our region if you use HDB antenna depending on your location. For me at Bedok Reservoir Rd, I can receive Malaysia channels ; TV1, TV2, TV3 & NTV 7 (all free to air) and all Singapore free to air channels (Ch 5, 8, U, Suria, OKTO, CNA & Vasanthan. Those from Indonesia channels are blurred and I therefore delete them.
so to say MHz is the best frequency. if i cannot receive the tv programme that i want using this frequency, then it means that i cannot get it anymore is it?
Just to let u know a few things...
1) UHF and VHF are both frequency range...
2) MHz (Mega) is not a frequency... Hz (Hertz) is a measuring unit for frequency... There's also KHz (kilo), GHz (Giga)...
3) Whether ur antenna can receive UHF and VHF actually depend on the antenna spec, IE: Wat's the freq range it can receive...
4) Next just adjust accordingly to the band range to receive UHF and VHF... Just like radio, if u wanna listen to 93.3 then u'll adjust the radio to receive 93.3 bandrange... of coz for UHF and VHF, the band range is much higher then a radio...
