  why not....so many elements. Race, space constraint, religion, nationalism. to name a few..... 

  Example: Batam shipyard incident the Indian supervisor call the locals stupid.....how many days riot.

  We'd have like 3 million Locals vs a million FTs...

  But since the gahmen is planning for the population to double by 2050, which could actually mean that the Local is to FT ratio could turn us into the minority. Crime rate could even possibly shoot up given the rise in crime here recently like the attacks by Sarawakians. China accent will dominate unless we force the PRCs here to either speak proper english or singlish if we were to retain our accent.

  Singapore would be the USA of Asia with the size of Hong Kong.
