any toothpaste expert here?
why is lion brand toothpaste so much cheaper than darlie and colgate?
Because its locally made at the factory at kallang bahru, not imported from malaysia or thailand.
so is it in any way inferior?
Why would Singapore made products be in anyway inferior to that of licenced manufacturers from thailand, and malaysia?
Do you know kikkoman brand soya sauces are manufactured and bottled here and sold worldwide?
Do you reckon the yakult manufactured locally is inferior to that from japan?
sometimes cheap doesn't mean its bad & when its ex it doesn't mean its gd either..
you misunderstood my question.
i am asking if lion toothpaste is inferior to those made by darlie or colgate. nothing about the country of manufacture.

i know that too.
thats why i am asking if there are any toothpaste expert here who understands about the ingredients used.
If you ask me, i reckon all toothpaste regardless of brand are the same. I use colgate total and lion's systema depending on the wholesale price fluctuation. See which one goes cheaper for a standard 160g pack.
I stopped using colgate for some time, because my mom said it contains sugar, of course there is no way to substantiate that. My folks uses darlie.

I don't touch toothpastes that claim whitening abilities, because they are sure to contain abrasives, and that is frankly not good to the enamel coating.
colgate and darlie introduced so many different types. i wonder if they're all just gimmicks. the basic ingredient of toothpaste is flouride. thats my understanding.
i switched recently to lion because its so much cheaper. i wonder if we're paying more for darlie or colgate for nothing.
Yes, they are just fancy names. The most important thing is how you brush.
and oso visit your dentist regularly..
for kids one...........
likes lion brand toothpaste...it tastes like sweets....in past it was very expensive for a small tube as compared to giant colgate or darkie toothpaste
I never use lion brand before.
If you touched the systema line of products, they are all under lion.

I use the systema toothbrush..
lion brand toothpaste........the age of innocence..where bakutteh tasted ever so nice and big blood cubes tasted so delicous and filling.

I use their mouthwash, because I find that it is milder than listerine and plax. Which to me is a good thing.
Dragg
ALWAYS buy a toothpaste without fluoride !
get Systema Sensitive Plus.............$6.90 per tube without fluoride..............
or get some organic ones from Australia, etc using spearmint, peppermint oil..............
brush with baking soda for best effect !
Ingredients i guess, branding
you should ask or PM lionoisy, he should know better, its his brand.
I used lion tooth brush but not toothpaste.
Fresh N White is it?
Simply it's because of pricing mechanism... It isn't as branded as Colgate or Darlie.
