Anyone can give advices? My younger brother is a enforcement officer who cleared his Cat 1 security clearance 3 years ago. He is a man of integrity and is doing well in his current job. Unfortunately, his spouse was jailed for misappropriation of funds about 3 months ago. He was totally unaware of her doings until the offence was discovered. He has been concerning whether his spouse brushing with the laws will affects his current security clearance or his career advancement. Also, will his security clearance be denied during the renewal? By the way, will a divorce or separation solve the problem?
Haha ? Divorce just because of that ?
you are making a mockery out of the marriage pledge...
"do you understand and accept this responsibility, and do you promise to do your very best each day to create a loving, healthy, and happy marriage?"
"The quality of your marriage will reflect what you put into nurturing this relationship. You have the opportunity to go forward from this day to create a faithful, kind, and tender relationship. We bless you this day. It is up to you to keep the blessings flowing each and every day of your lives together. We wish for you the wisdom, compassion, and constancy to create a peaceful sanctuary in which you can both grow in love"
A divorce will just complicate the matter. Don't you think his superiors wont question the reason for the divorce?
There are various reasons that lead to the misappropriation of funds. Don't you think you have to find the reason behind it first instead?
So let's put this in your context then. If one of your loved ones is severely ill. you have to take leave, sometimes faking mc to bring them to medical appointments, scopes and tests, you are worried that it will affect your job. Do you kill them, wash hands / send them to the old folks home instead?
Yes, dump the wife, its easier. Geez, are you for real?
Security is serious business nowadays
wa... just based on the above... a divorce?
hmm...
wow.
My apologies. I shouldn't mention the divorce thingy. They are still together. Perhaps can we just focus on the security clearance itself?
Why are you still asking this question The answer is obviously No ? If your dad is a murderer, are you also a murderer ? or are your future decendants murderers ? If the company is so childish, oh ya asking you to divorce your wife because of that, you are better off not joining it
Security is serious business nowadays
it does affect... used to have family members who worked in security sensitive industry..who and how close you are associated with does concern your employer..
