Two events in a roll reported in Straits Times (7Aug0) to create the so called records by the the records-crazed Singaporeans. What a waste of precious resources and time!
1)Punggol Primary School attempted to get into Singapore books of records for most cola-mentos geysers
2)gan eng seng primary school setting world records for making the largest quilt

2. Fastest timing for passing of rubber bands (10 people passed 40 rubber bands in one minute) - East Spring Secondary School.

PAP government is obsessed, not Singaporeans. probably some sort of campaign to instill patriotism and nationalism among school kids as the identity is weakening due to flooding of aliens.
