Recently i have been receiving a strange SMS from this sender named "Stealer" on my iphone. Funny i dont even save that contact in the first place, how did it appear?
I mean, normally when u received an sms from a stranger, your phone will display the sender's number, not the name.
The sms read something like "Please do not delete this message" --- and thats it..........
And the caller id function shows the number displayed is something like 8XX XXXX XXXX
wonder where and which country it came from...
anyone experience the same thing as me?
I just did a google search and it seems like some kind of program designed to steal contact list from jailbreaked iphones.... mine is not jailbreaked... wonder how will it, or will it affect anything in my phone...zzz
Do not pass "go", do not collect $200. Go directly to jail.
I beg your parden?
i dun understand a single thing u say.
Its a one off thing, let it be.
Maybe is your friend lose his/her mobile phone... and the phone (automatically) send you a message from the theif's number.
+8xx code is either
1) Taiwan
2) Bangladesh
3) Laos
4) Cambodia
5) Hong Kong
6) N. Korea
from countrycode.org.
Usually it contain "Please do not delete this message", followed by the phone's IMEI.
That person who lost his/her phone must be someone closely related to you in life. :)
