I am more confused about why not wearing seatbelt is against the law.
Killing, stealing, robbing......obviously those acts are against the law because they make other people suffer.
Not wearing seatbelt is a personal choice.

Polygamy should be against the law because: (My personal opinion)
1- In most countries where polygamy is allowed it is used by patriarcal societies to control and exploit women for selfish gains. Its about 'personal choice' for men but obviously and not surprisingly no 'personal choice' for women. It is brutally and unfairly enforced.
2- Its not affordable - unless you're living somewhere in Africa or some similiarly primitive society - you don't want people living on welfare with their 2,000 wives or 5,000 husbands using OUR taxpayer money.
3- Its against human rights - obviously.
4- In most societies where it is frowned upon, it goes against the societal perception of common decency and social values.
I personally don't give a rat's behind if they are both consenting parties - not manipulated, forced, oppressed or brainwashed into doing it.
If you enjoy being second/third/fourth/fifth to someone else, dehumanised and treated like an object of selfish desire and sexual gratification - whatever floats your boat, dude.
