no thanks. i go johore everytime i have to wear a pair of pants with extra pockets. so that i can keep my passport inside. otherthings can donn;t have or lost, even if you lost your pants. but passport must keep safe. have to be courteous and smile and act stupid drive lousy car and wear avergae clothings speak malayu if not kena rob and mug there. singpaore is still the best. -

I think the TS has a condo or more upmarket accomodation in mind. TS might not know difference between HDB and condo type places.
Having said that, I don't think you can even get HDB unit for $700 anymore. The last 3 years have made rental go up between 50-150%, depending on location. Places I used to rent for $900 a month 5 years ago now go for $1400. One place I rented out 4 years ago for $1200 is now advertised for $2600. Yes, still HDB. Totally crazy. I had to make some real changes in my budget to afford a place in the last 2 years.

singapore like i said should explore our own natural resources and expand our land.
the guys in white will have my admiration if they can make the impossible possible. otherwise next election i will reconsider my vote. or at least make my area a walkover so as to save me the trouble to go take long queue to vote.

We do make alot of money, but we put on the facade that we don't. We tell you we take in 2.5k monthly only, but we don't tell you where the rest comes from.

the living standards in some parts of china are rather high as well (don't factor in currency conversion and I doubt a normal local here would be able to 'survive' there, factor in currency conversion and hong kong would be a very close candidate)

brunei got natural resource mah. i tok the guys in white already many times we need to expand our land and create our own natural rersources. sayig depending on singapore people is superb no use 1. if our people superb why we still nedd so many floor traps and pee arses?
