all these places are for we youngster to show off our wears and fashion, and also to meet boys, illuma hmv have a good billard room that i use to challenge those guys for a few hundred dollars earning over the weekend. I do not know much about shopping there, but it is certainly a good place to hang with some rich boys who got money to spare.
Because i enjoy staring at the wall more than shopping

I don't go out much so i don't know the cases for most of the above, but As for Iluma... despite the positioning of the building, i'm going to have to agree with you.
But yeah, Iluma isn't really interesting when it comes to content. Personally i go there just for the Movie + Arcade(Which Still has DJ Max Technika 1, instead of upgrading it to 2.) + Colosseum(Sexiest LAN Shop in SG? =P). Oh and Otaku House too, I Saw Hatsune Miku Costume there. i Don't think Iluma is actually a place to shop, but rather an eating place where the variety is just... I dunno. Doesn't change the fact that it has Singapore's Largest LAN Gaming Centre. Though they don't have a website for themselves, so i guess it's not that popular(despite the fact that they have like 200 Gaming Rigs ready for use like Anytime?) and also it's kinda hard to find without proper instructions from those who actually have went there before.
Windlust, i agree with u... really nothing much... thus, i wonder what failed them.. and what would attact crowds? hahah..
If this goes on, the shop will be winding up one by one... iluma will eventually be a empty shell.. nothing left.. in terms of food wise, i went there to dine... i think there are 3 jap restaurent that are sort of link together? thats quite interesting.. other than eating, watching movies, and playing arcade/ langaming, i think theres really nothing much attractive there...
The management ought to do something about it... i guess they are making losses instead of profits...

Shopping aimlessly?
Thats the problem.
Guys know what they want, then go get it. Otherwise its 'wtf am I doing in Orchard Road'.
Only gals go shopping, they see (ooh! so cute/nice), they want, they buy.
Because I spend most of my money at SIM...

U went to the wrong shopping centres... These days a lot of people go to the heartlander malls or the mega neighbourhood malls...
Example:
West - Jurong Point
East - Tampines Mall
North - Causeway Point
North - Northpoint
North East - Compass Point
North West - Lot 1
Central - Junction 8
South - Vivocity
Try these malls... LOL...
Anyway, there are still some crowded shopping malls in the city area..
313 Somerset
Ngee Ann City
Raffles City
Bugis Junction
Citylink Mall
Lucky Plaza
Sim Lim Square
