Manage to get a $30 torchlight that uses 2 cr123 batteries and can use for wide beam as well as narrow beam for search light . Was using it fine and happily until my colleague ask to borrow a torchlight for walking those dark tunnels in the night . So out of goodwill i lend him that and when he came back , he told me that the LED of the torchlight burst just after a few seconds after turning on . Do you all think i should believe him ? Cos 1 night before my other colleague just use it for 30mins and when i was showing this colleague the torchlight , i on it for him to see also . How could the LED blow just a few seconds after turning it on ?

I don't hear of LED flashlights getting that often. Then again, it might be a circuit problem within the flashlight.
