  hi,

  For us, the commoners or peasants, our understanding and interpretation of the law can be quite limited.  It is helpful to get some basic simple legal facts from the forums (if exist) first before going to see a lawyer if necessary. 

  I am not trying to rob bussiness from lawyers, but i do feel most of us hesitate to ask lawyer on simple advice because of the scary fee (true or not, not sure).   For example, a typical case, a third party throw in a word "by law" in a discussion, you feel intimidated because you don't really understand.  What should you do?

  The word "by law" give the impression of authority, however is it true or not, no1 knows.  Could be just a scaring tactic.  Think about it, how many times, some1 try to intimidate you with this word "by law".

  I hope justice can be served better, and reach out to more commoners.

  Any1 know if such forums in singapore exists?

  many issues are rather personal, so some ppl may not be comfy to be toking abt them in public forums even though it can be anonymous

  u can oso go to LAB if u need legal aid
