I will go to Singapore next week to do accounting internship for 2 months
I would like to buy some cheap white / blue shirts and black / blue trousers in Singapore
How much will it normally cost?
Where can i find these shops?
The shopping centers at orchard road or somewhere else?
Thanks in advance
Wish you all have a good day.
sometimes u walk into department stores, especially the OG ones.....you will find many cheap shirts...like the 3 rifles brand.
www.og.com.sg
Maybe as cheap as $10.
thanks for your reply!
so, normally, we can find cheaper shirts / trousers in department stores rather than a small shop on the street, right?
how much will it cost for trousers?
can I get one for $10-15 in singapore?
thanks so much :)
ck dept store n mustafa
thanks so much.
possibly my first stop in Singapore will be Orchard Road :)
$10-$15 pants cannot be found in orchard road
OG, chinese new year coming, so alotta sales coming, OG doesn't just stand for Old Girls, it can mean Old Guys also.
To Firelce,
It means I can find lots of $10-15 shirts in orchard road?
Then, where can I find cheap pants?
the shirts and pants are for office work, it doesnt need to be really good.
it looks okay will be fine.
thanks
To ditzy,
I think I'll buy it when I arrive in Singapore this week as the intern will start soon.
OG seems really famous in Singapore, right?
Their website looks great :)

if cheap is the main priority, then look no further than OG. It has everything that you will want...from cheap ties and belts to cheap shirts and pants. Gd luck :)
Btw, where do you come from? Would it be cheaper back home?
i'm from Hong Kong.
but i'm currently doing my degree in Australia.
I think the prices in Singapore should be similar to Australia
if I can find shirts which cost around $10 -15 and the pants cost around $15-20 in Singapore, I think I'll buy it in Singapore so that I dont have to put too many things in my luggage.
there are so many shopping centers at Orchard Road.
I think i'll spend 1-2 days there to have a look.
By the way,
It seems there are lots of famous places in Singapore.
Do you guys have any recommendations for me where I MUST go to have a look and take photos?
Cheers

haha, i dont think I can get a $10 shirt / pant in Singapore now,
$15 will be reasonable for me & I hope I can find one :(
To Hitman 778,
It's a little bit hard for an international student to get an intern in Australia.
And it's quite lucky that I can get a placement in Singapore.
I havnt decide where I will live,
I may live near Aljunied MRT (EW9) or hostel around Lutheran Road.
which I think Lutheran Road is quite closed to Orchard rd.
so, does it mean that it's likely that I can only find "relatively cheap" shirts & pants in Orchard rd & tampines mall, but not somewhere else?
And do you guys have any suggestions for sightseeing, buying souvenirs (which are not food & drink) ,etc ?
there are so many places which i dont think i'll have enough time to visit all of them :S
thanks again

Why so troublesome? Just go to any Hangten shop. The regular tees there are quite affordable. You can find polo tees for $16 and regular tees for $9. If you got member card discount 10%. If you are a member you can get 50% during your birthday month.
