Want to get CNY luck ?
Come to Clementi Mall for the next 4 weekends from 1pm to 4 pm to get CNY luck from the Fortune God (some fat guy will dress as the fortune god).
Win money must come back to give money to the Fortune God leh.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The general trend is that food is always one of the main themes of many shooping centres and malls.
Clementi has many fast food restaurants now ie KFC, McDonald, Mos Burger, Burger King, Long John Silver and Subway.

No. Dunno. Don't wanna know.
DAMM... Today Jurong Point ULTRA SUPER HYPER crowded. 100X more than NEX.
The opening of Nex doesn't affect Jurong Point in fact it increases.
The shopfront of the Fairprice Xtra the fully packed, cant go in and out. The queue for 4D toto was ultra long, deep inside NTUC till entrance of NTUC.
Freaking crowded today.
i also went The Clementi Mall today. Fairprice Finest was very cold and at night, many curious people are inside the mall making it crowded./

Opened shops are Watsons... Fairprice Finest... Yumi Yogurt, Hockhua tonic and many more like KFC... Burger King.
The tenents looks unique. Got library and one special thing is, IT"S DIRECTLY LINKED TO MRT STATION.
Tell me, which other shopping centres is directly linked to MRT via overhead bridge ?

SP, NP, ACJC, NUS 7 or 8 sec and pri schools have huge pool of customers for
the fast food restaurants. More fast food restaurants might open shops in
Clementi.

yah. it's cool. But right now, the overhead bridge that is link to the clementi mall has not been hacked yet. Soon we can just alight mrt and walk through overhead bridge and you'll reach the mall.

And also Clementi there's a KOI. hence there is a need for clementi mall to have many eateries.
all suaku ppl like to go neighbourhood malls hor.
Should we make a topic of Eng Wah vs Shaw?

Ya lor, the KOI sells 800 - 1000 cups per day (KOI has an electronic display at the counter to show the number of cups sold in a day) and this KOI outlet only takes up half a shop unit. The boss must be laughing all the way to the bank everyday.
There are at least 6 similar shops in Clementi. The one at the shop at the new 40 storey block opened for only about a week and decided to close shop as there is no business. The owner of this shop must be very envious of the good business and non-stop queue at the KOI shop.
McDonald duplex outlet at the Clementi Mall is now opened.
Indeed, there are two levels with a circular staircase at the side of the outlet.
Level one is opened but level 2 is still under renovation.

KOI clementi is damn crowded. Never ending crowds. BTW, KOI will be closed on 25Jan, because of D&D. 26 Jan will open again.
No wonder SPH was so optimistic in Clementi Mall in its repor.
Everyone please frequent it more. This will give SPH more negotiation power to up rentals, and give shareholders like me even more bumper dividends :)
2010 SPH dividends already sponsored the $2k desktop I'm using now. 2011 can probably sponsor me 2 more ipad 2 :)
Please go everyday!
Thanks i_luv_erky for promoting. :) Saves SPH the effort.
shopping paradise........
next..........New Tampines Lifestyle Centre...........
and of course J Cube Mall at lakeside...................
bedok point ???
jurong point is crowded bcos of the malaysian, china-ese and banglas who transit the mall between work & home.
the way nex is designed, it is a bit confusing, jurong point is more squarish, hence quite straight forward. the tenants mix are abt the same, afterall, both are heartland mall.
but i do agree that nex is a bit narrow on its walkway and the confusing layout doesn't help people who visit there first time. nonetheless, heartland malls are for people who lives nearby, who in boon lay will keep going to nex or tampines mall to spend a quiet sunday shopping?
imho, parkway will be the best for heartland shopping experience
