I am sec 3 next yr and was wondering if i should quit npcc and join ncc???
Join lor, who is stopping you?
u thing can? they say cannot join ncc at sec 3
What's the reason for this sudden cross?
From my understanding, you are unable to change due to 3 main reasons.

y u want to switch?
Thank you for replying. This was how it happened, when i was sec 1, the
teacher in charge for all the cca promised me that he will help me
change to NCC when i was sec 2, but he did not... i felt very sad and so
he just chuck me aside to npcc.....
IF I tell you some of my paticular, can you help judge my case?
My
school offers NCC land unit only, i have learn all the foot drills and i
can learn Arms drill fast as i am VERY interested in the NCC.

Terribly sorry. I'm unable to.
The ultimate decision lies lies with the teachers to allocate you to your cca. You will have to meet up with the HOD in charge of CCA affairs and the Teacher Officer in charge of the NCC unit and negotiate with them.
I have already explained in the post above the difficulties and why you are unable to join at such a late stage. Continue working hard in your current CCA (NPCC), and when you step up to be an NCO, probably you can coordinate or hold cross trainings with your NCC counter parts of your school.
From my years of experience, I have only seen cadets get discharged from NCC (not committed, skip trainings) , but not cadets coming in during their Secondary 2 or 3 years.

Thanks ah. So that's mean i have to talk to the NCC teachers and see if they allow me to join right? is it true that they just have to go down to the HQ and collect this piece of document for me. And some more is it must have vacancy in the sec 3 slot(sec 3 of 2011) Some more I just want to say is I in the 1st place dun even like NPCC one, the HOD CCA just chuck me in like a trying to fill up a hole.

It's a complicated process my friend. In most cases, the Teacher officer in charge will not approve - reasons explained above in my 2 replies.
Further more, for any change in your cca status, the HOD/teacher in charge of CCA affairs will have to be notified and they will have to approve/disapprove. Changes in CCAs are keyed into your student particulars which will be tabulated for CCA points and it's key for your graduation.

wats with the signoff?
THanks anyway. I think i will give it a try, If not i try see can join as 2nd cca.
Hello there John,
I'm sorry but unfortunately, Kenneth is right. For uniformed groups, you are only allowed to switch in the beginning of secondary 2. For land cadets, you would have completed the basic syllabus of Individual Field Craft/Drills/Trainfire/Orienteering by the end of secondary 2. Your life as a secondary 3 cadet, or part 'C' will be a very hectic one as you have alot of leadership courses such as Specialist Course and Senior Specialist course which requires you to be proficient in your secondary 1 and 2 fundamentals. Thus, I suggest you stick with your current CCA to avoid disappointment if you manage to switch CCAs.
too late alr la.
even if i manage to switch , i'll have to start all over again is it? like be with sec 1s??? thats why i hate that teacher, deprive my chance .....
u sure u wanna handle 2 CCAs?
workload is getting heavier as u go upp sec.....
somemore u have a lot to catch up in the CCA....
why not stick to the current CCA and make the best out of it.
u might need a good record in case u wanna appeal after u get ur Os results.
I'll see how 1st.
My new notebook keeps experiencing BSOD. What should I do?
I appreciate for all your help. :) BSOD , for that you'll have to use your waranty.
next time u NS
you get get the army la
join NCC now for what.
pre-empt mah
Is there any ncc for sec 1 guy?
For guy, taking up ncc is good for their future ns role.
Especially those malay command.
A plus advantage.

Can you tell me more about the cca points?
Is it impt? Or a must to have certain points to gain access into jc or poly?
How they calculate cca points?
