I have been wearing it on the right since I was a kid. Noticed my mum also wears it on the right.
My ex bosses who fancy pricey watches all wear theirs on the right also much to my surprise.
The only reason I can figure out why people wear watches on their left is because if you're wearing a mechanical watch, chances are you cannot wind it up with your left hand if its worn on the right wrist.
i write and use mouse with right hand
so the watch will keep scratching the table
wear on left hand is "safer"
i'm right hander, but if i wear watch, i wear right hand oso....... don know why, wear left hand guai guai de....... so i don wear any.....
There is a really cool way to wear a watch on your left wrist, but it'll work only if you are often wearing a sleeved shirt and have a slim profile watch like a piaget or something.
You wear the watch on your left wrist as normal but the face is on the back side of your wrist. So when you read the time, you just raise your wrist and pull down the sleeve.
I observed how this star in the drama series Rubicon, did it. On a side note, in that drama, he was kind of a closet gay.
I'm right-handed but I wear it on my right wrist. My boss is a southpaw but wears his on his left. But in this day and age, hardly anyone under the age of 25 wears one when a mobile phone will suffice.

i still prefer just look at my wrist and not fish out my hp.
im a sucker for big-face watches
the only watch i wear (and the only times) is my Garmin on my run and it's on my left wrist
Those wearing their watches on their writing hand, Isn't it irritating in a sense if you are wearing a metal bracelet for example and every sentence you tend to write will be followed by a the clashing of the bracelet with the writing surface...

I notice that too with most of my lecturers and I don't understand why. They seem to wear their watch the opposite direction with what you said, the face of the watch at the underside of the wrist while the release will be at the top where the face would normally be at ...
Left wrist

I wear mine on my left hand, because it is more suitable for fiddling with the crown and push buttons.
