Hi everyone! I need to do an assignment on the topic "Discuss the trends of the spending habits of youth"
Can you guys give me some opinions? I think that youths nowadays tend to be more spendthrift.
What do you think?

Majority of the youths nowadays spent a lot more than youths in the past. McDonald and other fast food restaurants use to be a luxury, but nowadays some youths eat it almost everyday. (If you look even further back in the past, even coca cola was a luxury item which can only be enjoyed once every few months)
Some areas where money are often spent on are:
- food
- PSP/NDS games
- make-up, including clothes

Why you have something against basic needs?Food and clothing are highly affordable now since it is everyone's right to have food and clothing.
doesnt the main media treat online forums a little like rubbish and not to be taken seriously? yet you are starting a project thread? what are you expecting? that you'll get some true, honest and factual feedback?
