Which is the best way to eliminate bed bugs

I heard that Diatomaceous Earth (DE) powder can be used to kill bed bugs and its totally safe for humans and animals. Any idea where can I buy this powder in singapore? I tried the Home Fix DIY shop but they said they dont sell it.
Also, I've been looking around all the shops that sells bed linens and sheets. I was searching for a zippered mattress protector but it seems that Singapore dont sell the zippered ones. The zippered ones are effective to prevent bed bugs from going in or out of your mattress.
And would hiring a pest control works? I heard some cases where the bugs are back after the 2 treatments and its very expensive too. And Im not sure if those quite expensive water based bed bugs spray at the Home Fix DIY shop works or not.
I read so many articles on how to kill them but it seems that all methods works for some and for others it doesnt.

mattress at least 5 yrs and above..hardly gt sunlight ard my area so cant put it out. bt i understand they will still infest whether the mattress clean or not, old or new.

Replace entire bedroom furniture, including mattress.

my Leticia will use boyboy's cane and beat the mattress bery hard
then drape over the balcony to sun it
but got one time Leticia 4got to clip properly then the mattress fly when strong wind blow

Change the cover every 3 to 4 weeks.
Open up the window to let the sun do the work.

then when you let the sun do the work, look out for those bugs having a nice suntan there, tell them to move out

if u are lucky, u can see bras and boxers too

bring the mattress down, so heavy leh, then later hv to carry it up, and also no guarantee bugs free, might as well throw it away, or give it to bangala, then go order a king coil one, free delivery.Alternative, you can call bangalas to sleep in the bed for a few nites, cos bugs see bangalas, also run.

If lazy to make it clean, buy new one also no use, still back to square one.One solution, dont buy mattress, sleep on the floor. Buy a mat will do.

buy one that is bug free forever, there are such bed from King Coil, spent abit more, sleep more comfortable, and especially for old peoples like you people, sex also more comfortable and will not get injuries. -

Dont stain the new mattress if want to have sex. Go toilet to have sex lah. -

Change the mattress and bed frame, fumigate the room. Bed bugs are extremely resistant to temperature changes so even boiling your bedsheets is pointless.

Napalm generates temperatures of 800 (1,500°F) to 1,200 degrees Celsius (2,200°F).can bed bugs survive that?
