Average savings tertiary students have?

  Hi all, just wanna know on average how much savings does/should a tertiary student have? For those who are way older, hw much savings did you have back when you were at tertiary level.

  When I was back in tertiary, I had less than 5k in the bank. 

  Now it's a different story ....

  Don quite get your question.
  Do you mean how much do we save per annum while in tertiary?
  or do u mean how much have we saved during the course of our tertiary studies?
  
  I didnt have any savings or cash in my bank. Only savings i had was through some AIA policy, which i have to save 60 a month. Other than that, nothing at all.
  
  Booze and ciggs were where majority of my money go to.
