How no advertisement when using Firefox in sgforums

  Strange, when using IE8 to access sgforums.com, there are many advertisement and block out the page but there is no advertisement when using firefox to access sgforums.com

  perhaps it could be due to ur settings..
  for me I see no pop-up ads..

  except those irritating roll-over ones then have..

  No, there are no roll-over ones when using Firefox to access sgforums.com too.

  Isnt that suppose to be a wonderful thing? Those ads are really pissing the pants off me.

  No, there is none leh ie I did not get to see these advertisements, not to mention to roll over to activate these advertisements into big advertisement that block the page leh.

  Are you seriously complaining that you're not seeing the advertisements?

  No, I am just curious why is the Firefox has add-on that blocks out advertisements and why does the IE 8 not have the add-on that blocks out these advertisements.

  I use FF n i still get those farked up ads. So i guess its only u.

  especially those ads where the 'x' to close it is on the ad itself, and the moment u close it, it reopens. zzz

  Ar, I played with the settings of IE8 and found that by setting the security level to high, all the adertisements including the roll over adertisements are blocked out ie I do not see these advertisements at all when I access the sgforums.com using IE 8. But it wil be very inconvenient to change the IE 8 security level to high every time when accessing sgforums.com just to block out these advertisements.
