Yes, it was experienced by most of my colleagues. All of them happen to be iphone users, they had to borrow my phone to read the news on cabinet changes news.

my friends have been experiencing it since this morning..
me too and i m a singtel user..... whose phone ran out of batt and is lazy to have it charged

M1 Customers should just suck it up, they chose M1 to be their service provider.
Just like marine parade grc chose their team to enter parliament.

i think it's fair to be reasonable and don't expect everything to work 100%... even banks atm also down before... need to be more patient abit lah, don't so angry over small things...

Cos we so get used to sgforum outage, so once a while M1 or singtel outage is still tolearable for us

M1 service disruption traced
SINGAPORE: The service disruption experienced on Wednesday by some M1 mobile users has been traced to a faulty card in one of the operator's backend systems.
Some subscribers were unable to make phone calls or send SMSs for most of the day.
At the time, M1 said this was due to a technical issue with one of its customer management servers.
In its latest statement issued Thursday, the operator said efforts to resolve the problem were complicated by the need to avoid disruptions to customers hosted on its other servers.
Service was eventually restored at 7.30pm on Wednesday.
Responding to Channel NewsAsia, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore said it was aware of the problem.
It added it may impose a fine for service outages that affect users for a prolonged period.
