I agree, we can also have a knight in shining armour in our new mornarchy.
Plus who wants a first class airport and a first class shipping port. All these 1s class nonsense is what the PAP keeps harping about. I do not need a first class airport. As long as I can fly from Singapore to say Dubai, I am pleased.
Similarly, to aim to be a 1st class shipping port also does not ake sense. If I can get my essential imports quickly and cheaply, I am more than satisfied.
The 1st class airport and 1st class shipping is just to show-off to the world that we are a 'great' country. Well, we may be 1st cass in infrastructure, but are we first class in solving social problems? Look at all the Ah Soh's cleaning tables and selling tissue paper to make a living. You call that 1st class? I call that living in the pits.

Who cares about 1st class, man? Malaysians are rated to be happier than Singaporeans ON THE happiness index. To achieve happiness and bliss we need to be 3rd class. And we can create a political party called the THIRD CLASS PARTY.
So VOTE THIRD CLASS PARTY for a THIRD CLASS SINGAPORE!
N not to mention, vote also for a THIRD CLASS PARLIAMENT (made up of ministers who understand hardship rather than aim for more pocket money).

Why go back to farming when we are already way past the primary industry stage? This is not the 50's....what SG need can be bought from China or other countries at much cheaper prices.... Why waste precious land to start farming again?

There are SG vegetables but the China ones are very cheap....hard to beat their prices!
