SCAM help required

  Hi everyone. I believe that I was scammed for USD 1250 by someone living in Singapore. I just have his paypal email address and his name. Can anyone help me with this. I need to know if I can report this to any authority in Singapore. I am in Melbourne(Australia).

  This is the URL of the service I signed for. Its been 7 days and the guy offering the service isnt responding to my emails.

  
  The paypal email address has a .sg extension ([email protected]).

  I know the name of the guy and this paypal email address.

  I am not sure of the internet laws in Singapore. I could have filed a complaint to the cops if that person was in the US or Australia.

  you should address that to paypal.

  already did that. but they arent that useful in these matters. there are too many "ifs and buts" involved when you deal with paypal.

  I will help you the best I can... Do you have more information on this guy? Like address or something? Can you pm me all the details you have about him and I do some background check?

  If he's really a Singaporean, I'll see if I can lodge a police report on your behalf or approach that person directly.

  He provided too little information. I'm going to PayPal office in Singapore to pursue the problem further... They have an office at Suntec...

  paypal is just like a money operator middle man, helping people pay or get paid. they cannot control or even know what businesses are legitimate or not, who are the good and bad guys. they only have some policies and system to protect their own business right, laws and to prevent fraud privacy hacking into accounts not register by the regitry name or account.

  noob. no wonder usd1250 also can get easily cheated

  First of all, get his name and contact number.

  Then, try to get his home address if possible.

  Where is his office address too.

  Btw, how he cheated you the money?
