Mohawk fit curly hair ?

Hey guys ! This is june holiday and i am thinking of cutting a mohawk hairtyle and dye it.
First of all, my hair is kinda wavy/curly. i scared that when i style my mohawk, it wont stand.. Anyone have suggestion on how to stye it ? :D

Hi, firstly, we have been thru all these phrase, where we will like some drastic hairstyles in your lives. Firstly, your hair is wavy and curly, you are right, the mohawk wont stand. Unless you got straight hair, which u can use lots of wax to make it hard and stand, then ok. I assume u are talking abt those typical mohawk.
Secondly, its still possible to have it if u want, but it wont stand, u can only shaved off the side and leave the middle as it is, but shortern it lah, so that it wont fall to the left or right.
To have a mohawk, i reckon a barber. they got the shaver and precision skill to do it. Salon cannot, they only can cut hair, style hair, and layered. Enjoy your new "life"!
But remember, the hair wont grow back normally in time for school, so chances are, when school reopen, before the first day, u have to shave your hair off.

Try lah, Curly Mohawk, nobody would think it is unusual.

After haircut, use a hot iron to straighten it, you may use setting lotion and iron the hair slightly moist, this will make straigthening easier.
Bend downwards and hairspray it until straight and stiff, use mould clay or quick gel to reinforce mohawk.
