Why don't you get a netbook or something where you can actually afford?
My momma alway says....

Hey guys, I'm hoping for some serious answer. I am a graphic designer that would like to expand my experties. I'm still a student in my field, I hope you can help me. Thanks!
1) Go to Apple distributors/dealers, some got installment plans. Need to see their terms and conditions.
2) Save money over a few mths aim high buy new.
3) Save money over shorter mths aim low buy second hand.
4) Borrow money. (Legally) But, IMO, abit stupid to borrow money to buy Mac...
Buy Mac is just one thing, u also need to consider software which is not cheap. So your ultimate cost may be beyond simply the cost of the machine.

are u hoping for an answer from someone so kind to sponsor u the fee to pay for the macbook?!! oh cmon, its possible to survive without a macbook through design school.. are u trying to kid ppl here?? so what if u got that?? u still must go and install the programmes from adobe because it doesnt comes with the macbook.. and those things like Illustrator. InDesign and etc can cost up to 4 or 5 figure sums.. are u going to ask how to afford them ??
your school should have those programmes, and your internship company ought to provide the software for u to use during your stint. ![]()
