kopitiam drink stall commission

today i was at the kopitiam. as usual, the drink stall staff went around asking customers if they want drink. i wonder, do they get commission from sale of drinks by going around asking? what about the beer girls who serve beer? do they get commission?

Beer gals get commission. I don't know about the normal drinks stall girls if they are paid commission.

maybe they get to 'pocket' the drink money without boss knowing.

Yeah, actually kopitiam only charge $1 for a can of coke, they come and ask you, bring you your drink and charge you $1.30.

Because it's kinda lucky that I'm a student, and the aunties don't usually patronise students.Anyway, every can of Coke I've ordered at a regular Kopitiam costs $1.30.

And the ones I usually get from vending machines are 80 cents to a dollar. Hmmmm.
