It is rare to find such thing called "subjective" history as most of the time, the one who documents the history are the invaders and they portray in favour of themselves.

To minimize this kind of fallacies, the best way is to read from more than 1 side, preferably as many sides as possible.

"History is always written by the victor." , always remember that. Invaders is too harsh a word and misleading. (Especially when a defending country wins a war)
I hate history as a subject, but I love it when I read and hear about it.
It is true, mankind has a lot to learn from history, but then again, mankind's instinct hasn't changed very much because instinct is not a product of education but rather, evolution. Similar instinct may lead to similar mistakes and so forth.
In summary, I think history is important, it is paramount we teach our kids our history to give them a sense of belonging and pride (for we are the victors) and allow higher education to overule base instincts so as not to repeat past mistakes.

i love reading about histroy, though i never did well for it as a subject in school. haha.
history is written by the victors, so its up to you to make your own judgment. :)

i like history alot. i like china,ancient greece,roman,egypt,japan(abit) and ofcos ww2 but i don like the ending of ww2 . i don like down fall of nazi and raise of usa. hitler should win the war.
