I have a few questions about Contact Lens. ![]()
I have sensitive eyes but I want to wear contact lens because I need to attend a wedding soon so I need to look good during that day.
What type of contact lens is suitable for sensitive eyes?
And I am also looking for contact lens that will improve my eyesight instead of causing my eyesight to deteoriate further, is there a contact lens that can help me to improve my eyesight after wearing it, but at the same time, is suitable for my sensitive eyes?
And last but not least, would wearing Coloured Contact Lens damage my eyes?
My mother said that wearing colored lens will end up damaging the eyes. Is it true?!![]()
hmm.. i thnk johnson & johnson 1 day acuvue, not bad, since its daily de, its cleaner too!
u cannot just suddenly wear lens for 1 day
u need to get used to it
start now
go to ur optometrist to check the curvature
diff brands diff curvature and water content
wearing contact lens actually slows down the myopia compared to wearing glasses
but ur eyesight will not "improve"
unless u old oredi and become 花, them your myopia will go down
i swear by biomedics 38/55
i wore contacts, yes my eyesight did not deteoriate further as fast as i wear specs. but my degrees was v high still, atd 950 each eye. so i went 2 do lasik...
4 yrs liao., still perfect vision

This is probably regarding the recent news about poor quality color lenses. Color lenses by themselves do not affect eyes in any way. It is only because for those lenses, the solution they were kept in was not sterilized and hence bacteria was able to thrive in them.
Hi Ts, I am ex optometrist. :)
Normally we suggest those with senstive eyes to wear for soft contact lens. You can try Acuvue Oasys.
Coloured contact lens won't damage your eyes. It's nothing related. Just the coloured difference.
Hope all these will helps. :)
myself in fact would prefer Acuvue Advance Plus, it was a new lenses recently launched
Has anyone tryied that yet?
