Is Yahoo email very slow or got problem?

  Last friday afternoon my friend send me a email.
  
  I checked on saturday and sunday but never received it.
  
  I even checked my spam folder and it was not there.
  
  Today morning I check than I receive the email and the email was dated on friday 8 July 2011.
  
  Somebody is suppose to send me an email today too and I have not received it until now.
  
  Suspect that there is something wrong with yahoo and I will only receive the email a few days later.
  
  Anyone experience the same situation when using yahoo email?

  sometimes might be due to their servers either got probs or undergoing maintenance..

  for me so far no such encounter yet..

  Yes it happened to me too but not today.  It was supposed to be on 21st June my friend said she sent the email to me at yahoo mail. I checked on 22nd and didn't receive thus asked her to send again. She sent on 23rd very early morning ard 6am, I checked at 8:30am still never receive.  I asked her send again at 8:45am lidat,  and at around 23rd 9am plus suddenly I receive all the mails that she sent from 21st.  And all were dated according to the day she sent, not dated according to the date I received.

  Yahoo mail is getting hopeless these days.   It is very slow.   Giving functions which not everyone will want to use them.    I believe it is the inclusion of all these functions that slow down the mail system.   

  Have problem in sending mail out.

  the irritating thing about Yahoo nowadays is keep prompting to upgrade, mind you, it is not free.     Rejected but still goes on to prompt.
