  yup done it myself. maybe banks also do, but exchange rate might be crap.

  Oh, they might also not change all the small notes....just the bigger denominations. I kept the (dirty) small notes as momento....sigh.

  What are you doing with kyat in the first place? Should've gotten rid of it in Myanmar.

  That said I wouldn't be surprised if the Myanmar airport counters give you the world's shittiest rate.

  I wonder if you can auction off this kyat on ebay to the highest bidder.

  Failing that you can wait around with it at the hospital or ask your MP for advice.

  I changed S$1,000 to kyat in the airport only to realize tat ppl there prefer US$ other than patronizing the local shops.

  didnt see any local chiobus there so money not spent
