As we all know, the mongols under Genghis Khan and his descendents conquered a large part of the world and almost conquered the whole world.
The terriorities under the mongols far exceed the terriorities under the prosperous Han and Tang dynasty and also far exceeds the roman empire or the terriorities conquered by Alexandra the Great.
Do you think this period should be considered as World War 1 since the war involves almost the whole world?

Yes. Genghis Khan and his successors attacked the whole world.
