This is my first post and I am writing to seek advice.
I only have an ITE qualification and wants to pursue a degree qualification (any discipline) as soon as possible.
Anyone can advise me what is the fastest way to do so in Singapore?
Thank you in anticipation.

SIM.
U already say you are 48, then why you want to pursue study for?
It's never too late to study.. you should earn a diploma first.
Yes, I am already 48.
As a trainer, I strongly believe in continuous learning.
And besides, getting a degree has always been one of my goals. This goal came about because in my younger days, my family was poor and hence no chance for me to get a degree.
If I have to get a diploma first, I wish to know which diploma course is the shortest that can gain me entry to get a degree. I am willing to study part-time to get the diploma and then degree.
To me, age is just a number and cannot stop me from getting a degree.
Try PSB?
education doesn't stop when we leave school, so its never too late.
The govt preaches lifelong learning but not lifelong employment. A dip or degree at this age does not necessarily guarantee you good employment....esp in our local environment. Then you may end up frustrated for having paid so much to study but not secure a decent job.
Employers and managers these days are getting younger and younger. And they are also foreigners these days. They tend to hire their own kind and it doesn't help that we don't have labour laws to curb these malpractice.
Hi ayeo99,
Don't worry, as many had said, just get a dip first. If you have O-level, you might want to do a simple Business Dip, which can further branch into Business degree, Management or even Marketing degree.
In some private school, even with ITE, you can also do it.
Currently, i am staying in Canada, and not sure about the papers in Singapore. Previously, Monday Straits Time always have a lot of courses offered by private school, you may want to look into this.
In my previous job, I realised that people who took O-level/ A-level back in the 60's and 70's, they are of better quality as compared to those Diploma holder graduate after 2000. Those old timer can speak, write and read English better. Thus, don't be discouraged by your age. You have what the youngster don't.
All the best to you.
Mel
Thanks for the encouragement and advice, Mel.
Appreciate it.
All the best to you too.

poly is too long. my suggest to u is go look for a private school and get their diploma or advance diploma after that u 90% can go for a degree course in any private school.
sim duration is roughly 1.5 years.
other private school mostly is 8 to 12 months for a private diploma then go next level for a advance diploma after that then can apply for degree course.
currently i am a private advance diploma student also and will be taking my degree at this sept
i sell degrees
$5000 per set
wat disiplin you want?
