Warren Buffet, milliardare and 3th richest man in the world, demands in the "New York Times" higher taxes for rich people from the goverments. He reported that he only payed 17,4 % tax for an income of 7 millions of $ in 2010 to the US-goverment. He said further that his bad payed office-collegues had payed tax 36% for their income.

Isn't that the way it should be?
Rich in the higher income bracket should pay more taxes, but PAP doing it the other way, make the poor pay more taxes.
The argument is, if rich pay more taxes, then nobody wants to be rich.
In the past, poor and rich don't pay GST, now poor and rich pay GST, but rich has a reduction in income taxes.

Totally agree. PAP should tax the rich more 10-20% cos they are the bastard to keep on buy landing and property to keep. Den drive posh car very loud engine arrogant. Should tax them more. Thus, i believe inflation will go down. Den Keep our currency strong against US> I believe in no time, our 2.50 will go back to 2.00 and rental to come down.

Cannot tax rich more la. The rich are giving back by creating more jobs.. more investments. Thats why should less tax to encourage more. LOL!
