Am planning for my kid education but wonder how much it will cost 19 years later.
Yeah, what course? Medicine? 50K a year now, put into account inflation rate of 5.4% a year, so 19 years later, will definitely not be cheap.

There this insurance said even 180k is not enough for local university 19 years later.. that y i curious.
I am currently using my parent's CPF to partially pay the school fees on top of the government grant, leaving me with around SGD$200 per semester to pay in cash. But that's Mech. Eng at NTU.

Prob NUS NTU by govt. Fees already ex, every yr they increase fees. You want cheaper fees, vote pap out.

Alternative is you and family migrate to PRC. Apply for Singapore scholarship if your son eligible. Sure get it! PRC is a sure get it. Besides scholarship the sg govt will give your son allowance of $1500 every month for expenses. Good deal. May be by then it is much higher than the given allowance of $1500 now.

Dude most of the PRC and Indians who study in SG has a good GMAT/TOEFL/IELTS score and asking their Sgian classmates they were never even close.
