Not really, if you got a business mind, accept failure, with O level, you can also make it big rather than wasting time in dip and Uni. u can be a dropout or a scholar...many times, it is adversity and passion with very hard work which educate and develop a good majority of the great entrepreneurs...and many times the university of reality than the Rhodes scholar...
likewise, national policies rolled out by scholars without the wisdom of the masses who are the ones living through the harsh realities, are bound to be exercises in futility...
The problem is, the more you are educated, the more you do not dare to take risk in life, and to be successful, risk taking is a must, and furthermore, these scholars who use to get A stars in their academy cannot never be able to take failure in their life, so end up joining the workforce and civil servants, like ministers and MP or army general, and they cannot take no for an answer in their life, because of that, they do not dare to do the different, breed to take orders, non flexible and unable to handle risk, and that is why, singapore is in such state and getting worst.
