  nuttin wrong to check on the hair and makeup as they need to look neat to the viewers.

  afaik, they do not have makeup artists to help them makeup (compared to actresses and other show hosts)
  they do themselves

  Less and less local chinese news presenters on Channel 8. A lot from PRC now.
