Hi guys, I have a webinar to attend on 27th September 2011, 8pm Eastern time.
I went to check and found out that Eastern time is UTC - 5h.
Singapore is UTC +8. Does it mean the webinar will start on
28th September 2011, 10am Singapore Time?
Please help me.. .because it is an important webinar
This morning I went to check New York time.. it's -12 hours from our time. ![]()
I checked with strait times, business times, New york times and Time magazine, they said the economy outlook is very bad globally, not much different
umm i'm not sure, but when they say "Eastern" time, I believe they refer to the eastern part of a specific country. I don't think it's a global-time term.
U mentioned NY, so perhaps it refers to the 'eastern time of the US? So look up the time of NY and see how it differs to Sgp's time....then coordinate.
that's my guess at least...
that's my best guess too! ![]()
now new york is daylight saving +1, so UTC -4.
Singapore is UTC +8 . The difference is 12 hours. which means my webinar is exactly 8am tomorrow morning!
Thx man!
Hope it goes well! ![]()
DH, do check out if NY has daylight saving or summertime... I know some of the eastern coast of america does...
