i;m a civil servant for 5 years, currently i dun declare of my loan of 10k for my marriage. Recently my department receive a letter from the bank for my default payment of 3 months. I've settled the outstanding installment amount with bank and has no issue with em. I;m left with 8k but i;m settling 1.5k upfront so i'm left with 6.5k which the amount is less than my 3 months salary. I didnt know bout the declaration part. Will i get SACKED by my workplace for not declare. I can settled the outstanding in a year. Please help me!
Depend on your work performance. If the HR is good, most likely you will not be sacked. But if the HR is very particular about image, then good luck to you.
You won't be sacked for being in debt.
You may be sacked for making a false declaration.
