Need help for prom nite.
You know guys attending prom is expensive enough. Then the cost of buying a suit is expensive.
I come from a midde income family but still able to afford to buy the ticket for prom. But
the cost of buying a suit(cost around $200+ excluding shoeswear!) is really a burden for my parents.
My friends were also discussing that wearing tuxedo or suit or formal wear is an outdated way,we can follow those celebrities wearing a very nice top plus a jeans( a common sight for those mtv awards or movie awards ceremony). Then i thought since if most of my friends wear like that, thn i will have no stress waering this to prom cos i can afford this.
But then my friends suddenly chickened out and say maybe it still guailan to wear jeans and a trendy top and they start go spending a bomb on the suit.i was thinking maybe to rent but is it cheap to rent and whr to rent? also how abut the idea of wearing jeans and a top(The top matching with jeans i have at home simlar to style in the picture wore by robert patinson or ed westwick http://www.whowhatwear.com/website/full-article/they-wear-fashionable-fellows901/
or maybe i just rather waste the 80 dollars i pay for prom and don't attend.
can try renting from the Tailor Shop. Will cost less than $200. Just go around to tailor shops and ask. Plenty in Orchard, Chinatown, maybe your neighbourhood one also can.
Use the Yellow pages.
If you try to wear different, who knows you may be the attraction of the night, the only unique wear. All wear tuxedos like penguins , so boring. (like the recent Golden Horse Award).
I think creative matching will give you a notch up.
nice t-shirt
jeans (not too baggy, not skinny)

I think oni the blazer need to buy
shd be able to find under 80 bucks
next time got relatives wedding still can wear
oh, the prom no theme?
no theme lol.bt i dun think i wearing blazer since weather is hot lol.The rest i can settle
u mean ur prom is outdoors?
not in nice air-conditioned ballroom with 10-course dinner and lucky draw?
To rent a suit, you still need to have the money.
The usual method is, you pay for the suit you want to rent. When you return it, you get your money back, minus the rental charge.
