decided not to buy flat but HDB does not return 2k

  Hello friends,

  I decided not to buy the flat and now the HDB insists I pay the $2K .

  I like to find out what are the reasons that they would accept to waive this amount?

  Please share with me your experience.

  2k is peanuts only, one round at RWS can easy collect back why so worrying about it?

  of couse lah. if not people suka suka just go apply admin fees then don;t buy. its not like buying cheap things you know.

   

  tthings that cost and probably will weigh you don;t finanacilaly later if you take up loan, you think very fun to anyhow apply no need to think thru meh -

  it is a penalty to ensure all applicants are serious and committed.....

  like what redano mentioned, u could talk to your MP but state all convincing reasons why u decide not to buy and all the difficulties u face in the decision...hopefully HDB would waive ex-gratia....

  If HDB suka suka can waive admin fees, anybody can suka suka apply flat, don't want it later and get back their money. THEN WHAT'S THE POINT?!
