In Singapore, Government dont support personalise services. They make policies that destroy inovation on indivdual speciality. So naturally, these services never made it into the 90s. Instead of making Singapore special, Governement have turn us into a state of zombie who only knows how to follow simple commands. Most ppl dun even know how to change a lightbulb at home!

true.they even have the army and their cursed ippt remedial traings in civilians whatever left of their sparetime to ensure no further discoveries and inventions are made by individuals.
but then perhaps saying changing a litebulb is too much.it takes 2 to clap.... nowadays they have the internet and one can get great courses from there.in fact its down to individuals and tjeir rate of progres they want regarding creativity.the gov army might take away 3 days in ippt remedial trainings out of 7 days...not considering civilian work .but the other 4 days or leftover time after working in your civilian job is the one that should be used properly.that is only like 4days X 2hrs=8hrs.it takes 2hrs to think..1 hour to source for material in spore....2 hours to buy materials and bring back.....3 hrs to start designing prototype.that leaves no more time for 2nd stage or 3rd stage designing of prototype(6hrs).....testing of prototypes(2hrs)....design of production areas for production models(200hrs)...production itself which takes up a lot of time as can be mentioned here.it would be very hard meeting with underpaid civilian work and with army remedial trainings which is year round till age 40.by the time u build your special flying shoes ...u would have died of exhaustion.and being exhausted in process of designing things would make any product look bad and not work as designed.
the above hasnt even taken into considertion of the underpaid diploma level engineering full time work which doesnt really make the CPF minimum sumeven after almost 3 decades of work !
