I am curious that why singaporean aint going to little india and what will make them go.
frankly speaking, i am a singaporean and i love going little india because it is a hidden gems that have almost everything. however, it seems that many singaporean seems to be reluctant to go.
Why is Little India a gem to you?
I don't know too much about it. Know there are many varieties of groceries in the market. many stalls selling pratas and nasi bryani. My fav stall for nasi bryani is Alauddin. Price has gone up to 4.50, expensive. Kind of not worth it to eat often.
Of course there are many jewellery shops selling indian gold there. Indian delicacies and food and restaurants there. Hindism worship items are available there. Indian clothing, and indian beauty shops ......
If I go, I go there for food.
As I have guessed...

The only reason why I go Little India is to go Mustafa
But other than Mustafa, I never bothered walking around
It seems to be one of the places that are untouched by the government, unlike chinatown which seems commercialised after being revamped. Therefore, it doesnt look like singapore actually, everytime when i go, i feel that i am like somewhere else, like malaysia. Beside indian food, actually i enjoy other type of resturant such as french and african resturant. Moreover, i find it a great place for supper, since shops doesnt close early.
So i am just curious what would encourage singaporean to go this hidden gems.
Thosai and marsala tea, yum yum!
